Prior to starting Silver Spring Capital, Ralph was co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of WealthTrust, Inc., a Nashville-based investment management holding company. Before his career in investment management, Ralph served as Senior Vice President of AFLAC International, Chief Operating Officer of AFLAC New York, and Chairman of both AFLAC Canada and AFLAC U.K.
In his spare time, Ralph enjoys Pickleball, fishing the marshes and creeks of Coastal Georgia, working around his farm, and spending time with his seven grandchildren.

- J.D. degree (with Honors) from the University of Georgia School of Law
- B.A. degree in History from Vanderbilt University
Activities and Memberships:
- Board Member, El Shaddai Ministries International, a Haitian-based organization planting churches, schools, and orphanages in that country
