Will Ed joined Woodmont Investment Counsel in 2011 upon the merger of Woodmont and Teleion Capital, LLC, an investment management firm which he co-founded in 2002. At Woodmont, Will Ed serves on the investment committee with a focus on Woodmont's equity portfolio strategies. For two decades, Will Ed has advised families and institutions both in Nashville and across the country.

Will Ed started his career as a Research Analyst in the equity capital markets division of Raymond James & Associates (NYSE: RJF) and SunTrust Equitable Securities (formerly Equitable Securities and SunTrust RH Securities). His investment and advisory experiences include serving as portfolio manager for a multi-cap equity strategy, as a trustee and committee member for small and university endowments, a bank board chair, and a member of the investment committee for a private trust company of a large midwestern family. In addition to Will Ed's professional pursuits, he has been active in numerous local non-profits including the KIPP Nashville Board for sixteen years where he served as board chair and chair of the finance and governance committees during his tenure.

Will Ed lives in Nashville, TN with his wife and three children. He enjoys family trips, his kids' sports and artistic pursuits, and challenging weekly lessons at church.
